           Quality of Wood Chips

Our wood chips consist of green wood, pine needles and some leaves. These chips are best suited for ground cover, unpaved driveways, mulch piles, pathways, or parking areas to keep the weeds and dust down. They are a by-product of routine trimming and removals done by Cal Tree Care.

Delivery Information

A typical load of chips is about 10 cubic yards, or enough to cover

an area of 625 square feet (25 ft. x 25 ft.) 3 inches deep. Delivery truck
needs 20 feet of overhead clearance and 10 feet minimum width

to dump. One load forms a pile of chips about 12' wide by 4' high or will fill an entire one car driveway.

  Delivery Considerations                    

  We will call before delivering chips. A large truck will be

  used to deliver chips so access to area should be clear.

  We will not take a chance of damaging your property or

  ours. The chips are delivered in a large pile. We do not

  spread the chips, split loads or deliver loads smaller than the truck is carrying. Once delivered we cannot pick up.
